Notes

'Cliveden Beauty' delphinium (Delphinium barlowii 'Cliveden Beauty') is a perennial for cut flower arrangements. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This is the hardiest delphinium, so it suits gardens with cold winters. Blue flowers rise on stems 40 to 60 inches tall. Bees visit the blooms, which adds life to the garden as well as the vase. You can stake the tall stems if your site gets strong wind.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Cosmos, and Evening primrose.
