Notes

'Cocktail' rose (Rosa 'Cocktail') is a shrub for cottage gardens, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant flowers are geranium-red with a light yellow center, and they age to red. Blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. The climbing canes have thorns, so wear gloves when you tie them up.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Hummelo betony.
