Notes

'Coleen Mulcahy' peony (Paeonia 'Coleen Mulcahy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant single flowers have shining satin-finished scarlet petals, and bees and butterflies visit them. Julian L. Janus bred it.

Pairs well with June hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pink Impression tulip.
