Notes

'Comanche' rose (Rosa 'Comanche') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant orange-red blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. Herbert C. Swim bred it in 1968.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Prairie dropseed, and Black-eyed Susan.
