Notes

Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis) is a herb for food gardens, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and bees visit its white flowers. It sits low on the menu for rabbits. You can plant it where its tall, airy green stems have room to stand.

Pairs well with Tomato, Parsley, Basil, and Calendula.
