'Jersey Knight' asparagus (Asparagus officinalis 'Jersey Knight') is a perennial for food gardens and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy soil. It grows up to 48 inches tall and 24 inches wide, and white flowers open from early to late summer. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It is also salt tolerant.
Pairs well with Honeyberry, Ice Follies daffodil, and Ground cherry.
