Notes
'Hancock' snowberry (Symphoricarpos chenaultii 'Hancock') is a shrub for low maintenance planting and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It stays 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 59 to 122 inches wide, so give it room. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Ocean spray, Rainbow's End hosta, Ostrich fern, and Greig's tulip.
