Notes

'Conqueror' autumn crocus (Crocus speciosus 'Conqueror') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil of most types. It bears purple flowers from early to late autumn. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Ivy-leaved cyclamen, Lamb’s ear, and Elfin mother of thyme.
