Notes

'Constellation' peony (Paeonia 'Constellation') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It bears pink blooms with yellow centers in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Jacob’s ladder, and Nelly Moser clematis.
