Notes

Corsican mint (Mentha requienii) is a perennial for ground cover, low maintenance gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. Its tiny leaves smell like creme de menthe when you touch them. It handles mild foot traffic, so you can plant it between pavers or flagstones. Give it good winter drainage and keep it from drying out in summer.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Common milkweed, and Ostrich fern.

Corsica, Italy, and Sardinia.
