Notes
'Moroccan' mint (Mentha spicata 'Moroccan') is an herb for containers, food gardens, pollinator gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It spreads fast by creeping, so a pot keeps it in bounds. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Butterflies and bees visit the summer flowers.
Pairs well with Tomato, Broccoli, and Berggarten sage.
