Notes

'Country Bubble' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Country Bubble') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant pink flowers open in late spring on upright plants about 31 inches tall. The outer petals lie flat, and the golden center gathers like little bubbles. The stems stand up on their own, so you do not need to stake it.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Royal fern, and Shrub rose.
