Notes

'Coxa' tulip (Tulipa 'Coxa') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are carmine, shaded vermilion, and edged in white, and they bloom from early to late spring on stems about 18 inches tall. Zocher & Co. introduced it in 1930.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Singing In The Rain peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
