Notes

Creeping jenny (Lysimachia nummularia) is a groundcover for rock gardens, rain gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows only 1 to 3 inches tall and spreads 18 to 24 inches. Yellow flowers open in late spring and again in early to late summer, and bees visit them. Give it room, since it creeps across the ground at a moderate pace.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Prairie dropseed, and Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea.
