Notes

Yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia vulgaris) is a perennial for pollinator gardens and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Yellow flowers with reddish-brown centers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Bees visit the blooms. It grows 36 to 72 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Meadowsweet, Rose, and Stargazer lily.
