Notes

'Cub' cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia 'Cub') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought, so it needs little care once settled.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Anise hyssop, and Indian grass.
