Notes

'Cygnet White' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Cygnet White') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White petals surround a coppery-orange center cone from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Indian grass, Nodding onion, and Prairie Sun rudbeckia.
