Notes

'Moonshine' yarrow (Achillea 'Moonshine') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Flat lemon yellow flower heads rise over fine silver foliage that attracts bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Shear it back hard after the first bloom to keep it tidy and encourage reblooming.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
