Notes

'Daddy Frank' rose (Rosa 'Daddy Frank') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 35 inches tall and bears dark red blooms against medium green leaves. Flowers open in late spring, again from early to late summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit them.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Blue fescue, and Balloon flower.
