Notes

'Daffodil' peony (Paeonia 'Daffodil') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring with clear light yellow flowers that have 4 to 5 rows of petals. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Nelly Moser clematis, and Evening primrose.
