Notes

'Danish Gold' rose (Rosa 'Danish Gold') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The yellow blend blooms are fragrant and open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Svend Poulsen bred it, and McGredy introduced it.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blanket flower, and Japanese forest grass.
