Notes

'David' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'David') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers open coral-pink with pink and lilac shading, so they add soft color to the garden. Cut stems for bouquets when you want to bring the blooms indoors. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Tall fescue.
