'De Jager' autumn crocus (Crocus imperati 'De Jager') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The flowers bloom in early to late spring. Buds show buff yellow outer tepals lined with deep purple. When the blooms open, the insides are lavender, so you get a yellow and lavender bicolor effect.

Pairs well with Little Beauty tulip, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Sensitive fern.
