Notes

'Deborah' Norway maple (Acer platanoides 'Deborah') is a tree for specimen planting and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows at a moderate rate into a rounded shape. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Once settled in, it is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Swamp white oak, Western sword fern, Sedge, and Spotted dead nettle.
