Notes
'Deep Blue & White' columbine (Aquilegia 'Deep Blue & White') is a perennial for landscapes, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Indigo blue petals and long spurs surround white inner petals, and the outward-facing flowers draw hummingbirds and bees. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is short-lived, but it self-seeds.
Pairs well with Festiva Maxima peony, Grape hyacinth, and Kentucky bluegrass.
