Notes
'Delicata JS' delicata squash (Cucurbita maxima 'Delicata JS') is a vegetable for food gardens and ground cover. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It is a winter squash that grows rapidly and climbs. It blooms in early to late summer and matures in 100 days.
Pairs well with Striped German tomato, Dolce Fresca basil, and American mountain mint.
