Notes

'Demeter' tulip (Tulipa 'Demeter') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Purple flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 24 inches tall. You can cut a few stems for a vase. C.G. van Tubergen bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Lemon Chiffon peony, and Little bluestem.
