Notes

'Desert Coral' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Desert Coral') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Yarrow, and Red-hot poker.
