Notes

'Red Satin' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Red Satin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, First Knight fountain grass, and Russian sage.
