Notes

'Desmond Tutu' rose (Rosa 'Desmond Tutu') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and attract bees. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2008.

Pairs well with Coral Sunset peony, Star Gazer lily, and Niobe clematis.
