Notes

'Diana' Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi 'Diana') is a tree for specimen planting, screening, and shade. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It grows at a rapid rate and forms a broad shape, reaching 20 to 25 feet tall. The needles turn a new color in fall, and birds visit the tree.

Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Bowl of Cream peony, and Amur maple.
