Notes

Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii) is a tree for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It is a conifer that turns a new color in fall, so you get seasonal change from a needle tree. It does not flower. It grows 40 to 90 feet tall, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Techny American arborvitae, Bog rosemary, and Rush.
