Dix Favourite tulip

Notes

'Dix' Favourite' tulip (Tulipa 'Dix' Favourite') is a bulb with glowing red flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The blooms have a yellow base that shows at the center of each flower. Plants stand about 20 inches tall. That height lets them rise above shorter plants in a mixed planting. Pair the red blooms with leafy plants for contrast.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Siebold's hosta, and Sensitive fern.
