Notes

'Dolce' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Dolce') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. Red, fragrant flowers open on tall stems that reach about 59 inches. Bees visit the blooms. Jaap Blom bred it.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Festiva Maxima peony, and Fountain grass.
