Notes

'Don Carlos' daffodil (Narcissus 'Don Carlos') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant white blooms have a wide orange cup, and bees and butterflies visit them. J.L. Richardson bred it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Blue fescue, and Christmas fern.
