Notes

'Double Take Orange' Japanese quince (Chaenomeles 'Double Take Orange') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and bring in bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Once settled in, it handles dry spells well.

Pairs well with Casa Blanca lily, Christmas fern, Sweet William, and Katsura tree.
