Notes
'Dreadlocks' love-lies-bleeding (Amaranthus caudatus 'Dreadlocks') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 35 to 59 inches tall and blooms from early to late summer. Birds visit it, and it is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Coleosaurus coleus, Spider flower, Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop, and Red fescue.
