Notes
Slender amaranth (Amaranthus viridis) is an annual for borders and low-maintenance gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall. Small yellow and green flowers crowd together in summer and again in autumn.
Pairs well with Heavenly Blue morning glory, Sugar Snap pea, and Tuberose.
