Notes

'Duke of Windsor' rose (Rosa 'Duke of Windsor') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The orange blooms are fragrant and attract bees. Flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Mathias Tantau, Jr bred it, and Wheatcroft & Sons introduced it in 1968.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Black-eyed Susan, and Blue grama.
