Notes

Dwarf Alberta spruce (Picea albertiana 'Conica') is an evergreen shrub for specimen use, containers, foundation plantings, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It keeps its green foliage all year and attracts birds.

Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Columbine, Grape hyacinth, and Prairie dropseed.
