Notes

'Pendula' white spruce (Picea albertiana 'Pendula') is a tree for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen, so it gives you color in every season. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Birds are drawn to this tree.

Pairs well with Autumn Gold maidenhair tree, August Moon hosta, and Red Riding Hood tulip.
