Notes

'Eagle of Jupiter' peony (Paeonia 'Eagle of Jupiter') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early blooming double flowers are carmine-red with blurred-white petal edges and a slight citrus fragrance. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Blue grama, and Bobo hydrangea.
