Notes

'Earliglo' strawberry (Fragaria 'Earliglo') is a fruit for food gardens, pollinator gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. White flowers with yellow centers open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them. It stays 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads 12 to 18 inches. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Joan J raspberry, Lemon balm, Southern Comfort coral bells, and Common comfrey.
