Notes
'Early Bird White' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia 'Early Bird White') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It is drought tolerant and grows about 59 to 71 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The shrub spreads about 35 to 47 inches wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Agapanthus, and Orange daylily.
