Notes

'Early Purple Sprouting Broccoli' (Brassica oleracea 'Early Purple Sprouting Broccoli') is a vegetable for food gardens, borders, and containers. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full sun. It can reach about 60 inches tall, so give it room and a sturdy spot. Butterflies and bees visit it.

Pairs well with Shishito shishito pepper, Sweet Success cucumber, Bible hyssop, and French lavender.
