Notes

French lavender (Lavandula dentata) is an herb for borders, containers, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant evergreen plant blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Rosemary, Yarrow, and Curry plant.
