Notes

'Early Sunrise' largeflower tickseed (Coreopsis grandiflora 'Early Sunrise') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Prairie dropseed, and Woodland phlox.
