Notes

'Sun Up' largeflower tickseed (Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sun Up') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow flowers with darker yellow centers open in spring and again in summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Sundrops.
