Notes

'Edmond Lebon' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Edmond Lebon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Jacques Calot bred it. The large double flowers are dark pink and turn silvery at the center with age. This dwarf plant blooms in mid to late spring and has stout stems and good foliage.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Rock soapwort.
