Notes

'Electron' rose (Rosa 'Electron') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The deep pink blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Samuel Darragh bred it. It showed a 0% to 5% infection rate for black spot, powdery mildew, and rust in a survey of well-established roses.

Pairs well with Hummelo betony, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Nelly Moser clematis.
